snowflake.snowpark.functions.stddev_pop¶

snowflake.snowpark.functions.stddev_pop(e: Union[Column, str]) → Column[source]¶

Returns the population standard deviation (square root of variance) of non-NULL values. If all records inside a group are NULL, returns NULL.

Example::
>>> df = session.create_dataframe(
...     [4, 9],
...     schema=["N"],
... ).select(stddev_pop(col("N")))
>>> df.collect()
[Row(STDDEV_POP("N")=2.5)]
