modin.pandas.Index.is_object¶

Index.is_object() → bool[source]¶

Check if the Index is of the object dtype.

Deprecated since version 2.0.0: Use pandas.api.types.is_object_dtype instead.

Returns:

Whether the Index is of the object dtype.

Return type:

bool
