Cortex REST API¶
Você pode usar a Snowflake Cortex REST API para invocar a inferência com o LLM de sua escolha. Você pode realizar solicitações usando qualquer linguagem de programação que possa fazer solicitações HTTP POST. Essa funcionalidade permite que você leve a funcionalidade de ponta da AI aos seus aplicativos. O uso da API não requer um warehouse.
A Cortex REST API transmite os tokens gerados de volta para você como eventos enviados pelo servidor.
Configuração da autenticação¶
Para se autenticar na Cortex REST API, você pode usar os métodos descritos em Autenticando o Snowflake REST APIs com Snowflake.

Considere criar um usuário dedicado para solicitações da Cortex REST API.
Envio de solicitações¶
Você faz uma solicitação à Cortex REST API enviando uma solicitação HTTP POST ao ponto de extremidade REST da API. Na solicitação, você deve definir o cabeçalho Authorization
para incluir o token de autenticação (por exemplo, um token da Web JSON (JWT), um token OAuth ou um token de acesso programático). Para obter mais detalhes, consulte Autenticando o Snowflake REST APIs com Snowflake.
O corpo da solicitação é um objeto JSON que especifica o modelo, o prompt ou histórico de conversas e as opções. Para obter informações, consulte as seções de referência da API neste tópico.
Você pode fazer solicitações REST usando a Python API. Para instalar a Python API, use o seguinte comando:
pip install snowflake-ml-python
A API Python está incluído no pacote snowflake-ml-python
a partir da versão 1.6.1.
Considerações sobre custo¶
As solicitações da Snowflake Cortex RESTAPI incorrem em custos de computação com base no número de tokens processados. Consulte a Tabela de consumo do serviço Snowflake para o custo de cada função em créditos por milhão de tokens. Um token é a menor unidade de texto processada pelas funções de LLM do Snowflake Cortex, aproximadamente igual a quatro caracteres de texto. A equivalência do texto bruto de entrada ou saída com tokens pode variar de acordo com o modelo.
A função COMPLETE gera um novo texto a partir de um prompt de entrada. Tanto os tokens de entrada quanto os de saída incorrem em custo de computação. Se você usa COMPLETE para fornecer uma experiência de usuário de conversação ou bate-papo, todos os prompts e respostas anteriores são processados para gerar cada nova resposta, com custos correspondentes.
Função COMPLETE¶
Você pode usar a REST API para solicitar a função AI_COMPLETE.
Você chama a função COMPLETE do ponto de extremidade /api/v2/cortex/inference:complete
. Ele assume a forma:

é o identificador de conta que você usa para acessar o Snowsight.

Cotas de uso¶
Para garantir altos padrões de desempenho a todos os clientes Snowflake, as solicitações da REST API do Snowflake Cortex LLM estão sujeitas a cotas de uso. As solicitações que excedem as cotas podem ter o fluxo controlado. O Snowflake pode ocasionalmente ajustar essas cotas. As cotas nas tabelas a seguir são aplicadas por conta e de forma independente para cada modelo.

Cada incorporação tem um índice que corresponde à cadeia de caracteres de texto em uma lista na solicitação. O índice é baseado em 0, portanto, a primeira cadeia de caracteres de texto da lista tem um índice 0, a segunda cadeia de caracteres de texto tem um índice 1 e assim por diante.
No exemplo anterior, “foo” corresponde ao índice 0 e “bar” corresponde ao índice 1. A incorporação para “foo” é o primeiro elemento na lista de incorporações, e a incorporação para “bar” é o segundo elemento na lista de incorporações.
