Oct 21, 2026: Expanded insights for Snowflake Postgres¶

Snowflake Postgres now offers expanded insights through the insights extension. After you create the extension in a database, it continuously collects performance and health metrics from your instance and stores them in the insights schema. You can view hourly and daily history, expected-range baselines, and metric trend forecasts on the Insights tab in Snowsight, or query the data directly with SQL.

Expanded insights require Postgres 18.6 or later.
