DESCRIBE PACKAGES POLICY¶
Describes the details about a packages policy.
DESCRIBE can be abbreviated to DESC.
Syntax¶
DESC[RIBE] PACKAGES POLICY <name>
Parameters¶
name
Specifies the identifier for the packages policy to describe. If the identifier contains spaces or special characters, the entire string must be enclosed in double quotes. Identifiers enclosed in double quotes are also case-sensitive.

Access control requirements¶
A role used to execute this SQL command must have at least one of the following privileges at a minimum:

OWNERSHIP is a special privilege on an object that is automatically granted to the role that created the object, but can also be transferred using the GRANT OWNERSHIP command to a different role by the owning role (or any role with the MANAGE GRANTS privilege). |

Enables viewing a packages policy. Grants the ability to view the contents of a packages policy in a SHOW or DESCRIBE command and INFORMATION_SCHEMA.CURRENT_PACKAGES_POLICY. Can be granted to a role using the GRANT <privileges> command. |
Note that operating on any object in a schema also requires the USAGE privilege on the parent database and schema.

Usage notes¶
To post-process the output of this command, you can use the RESULT_SCAN function, which treats the output as a table that can be queried.
