SQL updates¶

New UUID data type¶

This release adds support for the UUID data type. The UUID data type stores universally unique identifiers (UUIDs).

Data loading / unloading updates¶

Support for Microsoft Fabric OneLake (General availability)¶

You can now use Microsoft Fabric OneLake as an external stage location for loading and unloading data. OneLake is the unified data lake for Microsoft Fabric that provides a single storage layer across all Fabric workloads.
