Set up Snowpark Checkpoints¶

Before executing Snowpark Checkpoints, do the following:

• Set up a Python development environment

• Install the Snowpark Checkpoints library.

• Install and enable the Snowflake VSCode Extension for Snowpark Checkpoints.

• Optionally, integrate the Snowpark Migration Accelerator (SMA). For more information, see Snowpark Migration Accelerator Documentation.)

These components work together to enable accurate validation of Snowpark workloads against their original PySpark implementations.
