Setting up Snowpark Checkpoints¶

Before running Snowpark Checkpoints, complete these tasks:

• Set up a Python development environment.
• Install the Snowpark Checkpoints library.
• Install and enable the Snowflake VS Code Extension for Snowpark Checkpoints.
• Optionally, integrate the Snowpark Migration Accelerator (SMA). For more information, see Snowpark Migration Accelerator Documentation.)

These components work together to enable accurate validation of Snowpark workloads against their original PySpark implementations.
