Turn agent feedback and rephrased questions into an evaluation dataset: code

Every file in the Turn agent feedback and rephrased questions into an evaluation dataset recipe. To run the recipe, download agent-feedback-to-evals.zip, unzip it, and run the scripts from the agent-feedback-to-evals/ folder as the recipe describes. Comments in the files that say “see README” refer to the recipe page; the zip includes it as README.md.

Jupyter notebook, shown as Python with Markdown cells as comments.

# %% [markdown]
# # Submit explicit feedback for the simulated conversations
#
# Run this after `sql/04_simulate_traffic.sql` and before `sql/05_mine_signals.sql`.
#
# End-user feedback reaches the agent's observability events only through the Feedback REST API
# (`POST /api/v2/databases/{db}/schemas/{schema}/agents/{name}:feedback`). In production your app
# calls it when a user clicks thumbs up or down. Here, the rows in `APP.FEEDBACK_SCRIPT` play that role.
#
# Requirements:
#
# - `SNOWFLAKE_PAT`: a programmatic access token for a user who can use the recipe role.
# - `SNOWFLAKE_ACCOUNT_URL` (optional): your account URL, for example
# `https://<account_identifier>.snowflakecomputing.com`. Defaults to the host of the current connection.
#
# Every submission is written to `APP.FEEDBACK_LOG` with its HTTP status, and the submit cell fails if any
# submission failed, so an auth or permission problem is visible instead of silently producing no feedback.
