Requesting a New Data Exchange¶
To request a new Data Exchange for your Snowflake account, contact Snowflake Support and provide the following information:
Description: A description of the business case to use the Snowflake Data Exchange.
Name for the New Data Exchange: The name is a unique identifier for the Data Exchange that is used in SQL. The name cannot include spaces, or special characters, and must be unique if you have an existing Data Exchange for a Snowflake account in another region.
Data Exchange Display Name: The display name is displayed in the User Interface to the Data Exchange members.
Account URL: The URL of an account for which the Data Exchange is created.
Organization ID: ID of your Snowflake organization (if you are using the Organizations feature in Snowflake).
Enabling a Data Exchange for your account may take up to 2 business days. When you request a Data Exchange to be enabled, please be sure to provide Snowflake account URL. Providing incorrect or incomplete information may delay the process.
