December 05, 2024 — Snowflake Cortex Powered Descriptions — General Availability¶

We are pleased to announce the general availability of being able to sign in to Snowsight and use Snowflake Cortex to generate descriptions for tables, views, and columns. Snowflake Cortex leverages large language models to generate the descriptions based on object metadata and, optionally, sample data.
