August 29, 2024 — New Mistral Large 2 model available in Snowflake Cortex AI

We’re pleased to announce that Mistral AI’s Mistral Large 2 large language model (LLM) is now available for serverless inference in Snowflake Cortex AI.

Mistral Large 2 is a significantly more capable model than Mistral Large in math, reasoning, and coding with an increased context window of 128K. It also has strong multilingual capabilities to simplify text processing and analytics of multi-language content.
