Attention
This behavior change is in the 2023_06 bundle.
For the current status of the bundle, refer to Bundle History.
In the current Snowflake release, the queries for Snowflake alert conditions and actions are included in the query history. This affects the following interfaces:
The QUERY_HISTORY and QUERY_ACCELERATION_ELIGIBLE views in the ACCOUNT_USAGE schema.
The QUERY_HISTORY and QUERY_HISTORY_BY_* functions in the INFORMATION_SCHEMA schema.
The Query History page in Snowsight.
The History page in the Classic Console.
- Previously:
The queries for the conditions and actions in Snowflake alerts do not appear in the query history.
- Currently:
The queries for the conditions and actions in Snowflake alerts will appear in the query history.
In the query history, the name of the user who executed the query will be SYSTEM. (The alerts are run by the system service.)
