Use Snowflake Iceberg tables with Polaris Catalog¶

This section provides information about using Iceberg tables in Snowflake to work with Polaris Catalog.

Polaris Catalog is a catalog implementation for Apache Iceberg™ built on the open source Apache Iceberg™ REST protocol. To learn more, see the Polaris Catalog documentation.

Snowflake supports the following options for working with Polaris Catalog:

Query a table registered in Polaris Catalog using Snowflake.
Sync a Snowflake-managed Iceberg table with Polaris Catalog.
