Sep 24, 2026: Snowflake Data Clean Rooms updates

Clean Rooms API Version: 18.5

The following updates are now available in Snowflake Data Clean Rooms:

  • Data Clean Rooms UI in Snowsight - Generally Available: Managing collaborations in the Snowsight UI is now generally available. You can browse, create, review, join, and manage collaborations, share templates and data offerings, and run analysis, directly in the UI. This release also includes the following improvements:
    • New Activity tab: A new Activity tab gives you an audit trail of the analysis template runs in a collaboration. You can filter and sort the runs, and open any run to see its inputs, parameters, and outcome. What you see depends on what your account contributed to the collaboration. For more information, see activity history.
    • Get started guide: A guided walkthrough of setting up a test collaboration and running your first analysis is now available from Get started at the top right of the tabs.
    • Redesigned review and join experience: Collaborations you’ve been invited to now have a details page you can review before joining. Reviewing prepares the collaboration in your account so you can inspect the templates and data offerings involved, and the resources being requested from you, before you join.
    • Updated Templates and Data Offerings tabs: The collaboration details page now shows templates and data offerings in separate tabs, each with Shared by and Shared with columns. This replaces the separate Shared by you and Shared with you tabs.
    • Faster page and tab loads: Switching between the Collaborations, Data Offerings, and Templates tabs is faster. The UI prefetches listing data when the page loads, serves cached lists immediately, and refreshes them in the background.
  • General performance improvements and bug fixes.
  • Updates to private preview features.
